First AP - 15202 YG

It finally happened - after much deliberation and waiting, I received my first AP.

I wanted something fun for weekends that also fits my smaller wrist. So a Jumbo in yellow gold it is. It is really a stunning piece.

Many thanks everyone! I'll post more pics when I get a chance.

As some background, I had originally liked the 26320, a fantastic piece, but when I tried it on it was way too big. Then last fall I showed my wife the RG version of the 15202. She said "get the yellow gold version" and I said that it doesn't exist. Fast forward to SIHH 2017 and voila. Shortly after, I happened to visit an AP boutique while on vacation, and after having a cocktail to build some courage, the order was placed.

It has been a crazy (and very lucky) time for me in terms of watches. On a Saturday I traded my Daytona for a PP Aquanaut....then out of the blue the AP dealer let me know the 15202 was on its way.

Wowza, on the w/e you're gonna be a king.

Only drawback is it turns out your wife actually is a mind reader.

I also like the new yellow dial on the YG piece! That one looks great as well! If I knew how to post pic I would show you the watch I'm referring to...

That version is amazing as well (photo attached, not mine). I didn't get a chance to see it in person but I like the retro vibe. At the end of the day, my eyes are getting older though and I like the contrast of the blue dial.
