Need some advice
Hi guys, I got my first ROLEX BLNR last year, and i am enjoying every moment with it, but last month while traveling i noticed a small chip in the end of the lugs, I may have knocked it somewhere unknowingly, i need to know when the watch goes for service will the ROLEX fix this ? As the lugs are brushed look and chipped part is visible as polished look.
Thanks |

It's a beautiful watch and made to be worn. I wouldn't worry about it.

They would have to do micro laser welding to add metal and then polish it; should look back like new.

Rolex does not laser weld damaged cases. That is pretty severe of a chip. You may want to find an independent watchmaker who can do laser welding. Just sanding and trying to polish that down will most likely be noticeable as more metal will be removed.

Thanks guys for all the advice, I'm bit worried since I've taken care of it and this has happened. I hope I can find a good watchmaker to help me sort this out or contact ROLEX to ask them if they can fix this during service.

Picture make it bigger than it is, IMO not worth the fix (laser welding). Just leave it and enjoy the watch.
