FS: 1979 Rolex Submariner 5513 (1-owner)

Hello! Up for sale is a Rolex Submariner 5513 from 1979. Details below!

OVERALL: I am selling this watch for my uncle who purchased this brand new in Switzerland during a trip to Europe. He is the original owner and wore this well. Watch has signs of wear and has served him like the tool watch that it is. He has 3 daughters (no one to pass it down to) and wants to sell it. He has had the watch serviced but does not quite remember when. He hasn't worn the watch in years. Watch winds smoothly and is running well within COSC (+2-3 secs/day). I had my local watchmaker check out the watch and the movement is clean.

• BRACELET: 93150 oyster bracelet with 10 links (Date Code: F). 580 end links. Very light stretch.
• CASE: Has signs of wear and has been polished in the past. Lugs remain thick.
• BEZEL: Original insert with some signs of wear. No pearl.
• DIAL: Serif dial with no flaws. All lume intact. Hour markers have a creamy patina while the patina on the original hands have aged to a few shades darker. Many have noted that this serial range is commonly expected to have a maxi dial which is my understanding as well. My uncle has never had the dial or hands replaced so the dial/serial combination remains a mystery. (HQM has a similar combination for sale as well for reference: LINK)
