Does this happen to anybody else....

I love all my fountain pens dearly but I'm going through a phase of using my ball pens at the moment. The urge snuck up without warning and it feels quite strange.

Not so much. I am in a RollerBall phase. You will come back around to the FP.

Check your pulse. Do you recall anyone ministering Last Rites?

This thread has been gnawing at me in the background since you posted it. I'm having an irrational desire to bust out my Montblanc Starwalker midnight ball point! Well not completely irrational. It's an awesome pen with Montblanc pacific blue refills. Dead smooth. That was my first expensive pen. Couldn't believe I actually did it when I hung up the phone after ordering. I might bring it along to work tomorrow.

Funnily enough it was picking up my MB Meisterstuck ballpoint to write on shiny paper that started me off. Had a fun week or so writing with it (and perhaps playing at being Harvey Spectre a little bit) before the refill ran out and I took the hint to return to fountain pens. It wasn't my first serious pen but it was my first very expensive one.

Enjoy. Maybe post a couple of pics of it in action?

I'll see what I can do. I have not been able to get TRF to post pictures from my phone since the update a few months ago. Keeps telling me they're the wrong format. Then I take a screenshot of the picture. Then it says the image is too large........by then I have to get back to flying the plane

Sadly I carry a BP every day as I have to fill out triple carbon copies all day. It sucks!

To know the future is to be trapped by it

Cheers. Filled my Parker 51 the other week and that set me back on track!
