Question on precious metal watches
Question is the 2017 Rolex 116613LB Submariner TT Sunburst Blue dial 18KYG/SS considered a precious metal watch ? I am new to Rolex watches and currently only have one a DSSD D-Blue I was under the impression that the two tone was considered precious metal and someone just recently corrected me and said it had to be made with all 18K YG to be considered a precious metal watch.
To him I say but I would like to know. This forum has answer so many questions that I have thanks in advance for any help. |

Hi Bill, I personally wouldn't consider a tt to be a pm watch.

A TT is not a PM watch.

i would say no, TT is not PM.
If it was then its a slippery slope to then calling SS watches PM as well since they have white gold hour markers and hands. |

On this forum we generally use SS, TT and PM abbreviations.
