Where do you store your Rolex?

So today I decided to take out my original Rolex box and begin to store my Rolex YM there.

For the past month I have been afraid that I would soil the box / fittings. But as of today my Rolex Yacht-Master now sits in it's natural place and I must say it looks wonderful there!

Where do the rest of you store your watches when you take them off each day?

You do take them off.........don't you??

I store my YM and GMT IIc in my gun safe. I also keep all of my Nikon camera equipment and 2 Sigs in the same safe.

I'm thinking of getting a small safe just for my watch box. It would be christmas for any robber walking into my room. They just need to pick up that box and all of my watches...gone!

My daily (friend) goes on the night stand next to my bed the rest go in my gun safe with my other friends. The safe location is a secret.

I store all my watches in a watch box which I keep in my sock drawer.
Am I the only one who stores them there?

this may sound weird, but if im not wearing mine, i'll stash it in various awkward places in the house. a thief is welcome to my swatch, but good luck finding my rolex.

Not weird at all. Better than having it on display around the house so that a theif can do his job within minutes.

If I stashed mine like that I would never remember where I left it. I can't even find my car keys and I TRY to leave them where I will find them.

Recently, I was up at our Michigan place and didn't have access to a safe. I wanted to "hide" my Rolie and wear my Luminox Navy Seals watch to the dunes with the kids. Somewhat forgetting about my Rolie when we got back, it was only minutes before the five year old came out into the living room with it in his hand grinning. I thought I was crafty in thinking up a good hiding spot. However, the five year old found it in minutes. A determined thief would find it as easily too. Lesson learned! If you want it safe, keep it in a safe when it is not on your wrist. The same goes for things that go bang!

p.s. forget about the book hideaways, the electrical outlet devices, shaving cans, hollowed out rocks, toilet tanks, sock drawers, under the mattresses, etc. Any career thief and even moderately experienced thieves know all the tricks. A good 900lb safe a home alarm system is about as good as it gets on your own. After that, use the bank's vault.

Being that I live on a 9,000 acre cattle ranch, and my home is about 2 1/2 miles from the paved road, and I'm 18 miles from any developed town, mine are laying around where ever I put them I guess.

But honestly, the ones I'm not wearing regularly are just on my dresser, or on my desk in my office.

I store my Rolex in a small wooden box(the kind that are sold at craft fairs)....keep your original box in the closet, so it will stay clean and neat in case you wish to resell the watch

Since I just purchased mine, I haven't thought too much about a safe place. I have a 90lb American Pit Bull Terrier and don't think too much about home safety. She does that for me

Great! Going to Wally World tomorrow to get one.
