Need Help from the AP Experts!
Hi all I am looking to purchase a 15400 silver dial. I will be buying a pre owned version. I have come across a 2013 model that is an "H" series. I recall reading on this forum (and I apologize I haven't been able to find it) the an earlier model (perhaps H.) had trouble with the clasp screws coming loose. I believe AP fixes/replaces the clasp at service but not sure?
So is the H series the model with the troubled clasp. Should I wait until a new I or J series becomes available. I am not in a huge rush. Really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks all.

Never read anything about the clasp. Maybe call APSC and inquire.

Not an owner but can't remember reading much about that issue either. Maybe do a search here.

They switch3: the clasp during the I series (around 2014) so you would have to double check which I series you are looking for in particular.
Visually the "older" clasp will show the screws on the triggers, but I haven't heard about any troubles. |

you are correct and AP will replace the older style clasp as it is a known issue as the screws would come off sometimes. I remember reading about someone taking their old clasp in to get swapped on here before. It was either that or the screw came out and they took it to AP and instead of replacing the screw they just put on the new clasp instead.
EDIT: found it https://www.rolexforums.com/showpost...3&postcount=16 and verification of claim here: https://www.rolexforums.com/showpost...1&postcount=48 |

Awesome! 2 screw holes vs 4 easy to verify. Thank you very much.
