Pas Paris
Not in Paris. I will be in Paris for two months starting in early September. My plan was to purchase a SS Submariner Date at the beginning of that stay. Calls to five of the smaller ADs reveals that at a minimum there is a three month wait. One dealer said maybe at the end of the year. Another referred me to an AD at Charles DeGaulle Airport. The airport AD's response was that while they did not have one in stock at the moment, they could have one when I arrived. Needless to say, given the demand, none of the ADs were flexible on price. But the VAT varied, ranging from 11.5% at the airport to 17% at one of the dealers in Paris proper.

Quite an interesting first post.
But, overall, yes, it's hard to source SS professional models in Paris. Just be thankful you're not looking for a 116610LV. |

I saw one in a window in Nice 6 weeks back, so given the country is not massive and you are there for 2 months some homework will probably work for you. Cities outside Paris may give you better luck and Spain/Italy and others are only a day trip away.

Rome has a number of ADs that can offer better than most on this watch.
