I'm keeping this one close. Funny thing is I've had a few PMs offering to buy it, which I've never had with other watches. I must have a good one |

Thanks so much.
Do I miss the Air-king? Not really in one way as I never wore it, however I still have that slight sellers remorse when I see a a photo of one. My head tells me the AK is the "better" piece as financially it cost less, for a watch that keeps better time, under 5 year warranty, anti-magnetic etc. It has the splash of colour I love too. However my heart didn't quite connect with it which stopped me wearing it. Which is such a shame as I loved to look at it and admire it. Did I make the wrong choice by trading it? I don't believe so as the GMT actually excites me and I actually love it. The new AK will always be one I love, and could pick up again in the future. |

What's going on, looked back today for another glimpse of that watch and photo bucket has worked its magic already and got rid of them :-(
I bet someone could regulate that watch Nairn to run just as accurately as your AK did. In your heart of hearts you know you did the right thing. |

Photo bucket is playing tricks and is insisting I upgrade?
I used to always just attach photos here and it was no problem, however it now keeps saying they're too large so photobucket solved that...now that's messed up too. Looks like no more photos from me unless the site can resolve the photo size issue? Seems the GMT is running 15 seconds fast per 24 hours so far. You know, I can live with that and once a week I'll just re-time it. No big deal and worth it for a thing of such beauty. The preowned dealer I bought it for has asked me to send it back and they'll look at fixing the timing etc, but you know, I can't be bothered with sending it away and associated risks and hassle. I'll just live with its 15 second speeding. After I've had a few years wear out of it, I'll send it to Rolex for a full proper service. Yes, I totally know I did the right thing, as I can't get this GMT off my wrist. |
