Gold Day-Date with cognac dial and brown alligator bracelet.
I was perusing the Rolex website this morning and admiring the rather huge number of permutations of this watch and found this stunning piece. I think this might be my next Rolex purchase.
I think this would make a nice dress watch. I like khakis and browns personally and this watch would look stunning on the wrist IMO. Does anyone here own this watch and have any decent pictures of it they'd like to share? I'd love to see them. This is the combination I'm talking about. |

Personally I don't like straps I went full YG bracelet black motif dial! I'm in LOVE almost slept with the watch last night.

Beautiful piece! I must admit the temptation has always been there for me to acquire one. I generally see the WG versions (blue and burgundy) but not too many as pictured in my outings. I think the combination would be a winner for what you have in mind |

Tough gig for a President sans President, but as a dressy leather watch it is a very nice piece.

I tried that very same watch on last week with the other pm,s i posted. The one i tried was 36mm, it was beautiful but after the 40mm gold ones, it felt small, and i mean very small.
You would have to try it on. I think it was half the price of the full gold 40mm. |

That's a really nice DD. It's my own quirk but have a hard time warming up to Rolex on straps. The bracelets just seem to be an integral part of what makes them great. Admittedly the new WG Daytona on Oysterflex has my attention.
