The optimism of the 4-watch box

Just need a birth-year Sub for that final slot...

I'm thinking of getting one (right now I use just the wrist, individual storage pods and the winder) and am thinking of getting one with three. Three slots.

I think my optimism is higher than yours. By a little bit.
I also think we might have to re-buy later.

A nice sub or Daytona would be a great addition to the final spot! LN, LV or even a 5513 or 14060m.

Sub is the perfect fifth. But do yourself a favor and go modern.

Agree with this, I'd go Sub without the date (114060) with your current collection.

Great collection so far! I agree on the need for a sub (without date) for that box.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on how the Air King wears vs your GMTII.

Interesting to hear the consensus about a modern no-date sub to round off the collection - can I ask why (not that I disagree!). A 1975 5513 would be my dream but I do like the modern Subs too.

@elkaholic in a word, bigger. It's a surpisingly chunky watch, wears much bigger on the wrist than the GMT, but I really like it (even with my tiny girl-wrists).
