Aren't the window models missing their movements? I swear I've only seen models in the window set to 10:10:31 and 28th.

no, not at any AD i have ever been to.

Unless the AD is hosting a Basel event to show off new models then all watches are functioning pieces. Those demo models move from AD to AD every few days and then presumably go back to switzerland.
