Help to decide between Milgauss or YM1

I have to choose between a YM1 16622 w/ grey dial also is a 2009 with the rolex, rolex, rolex or a milgauss w/ black dial and green glass. Both watches are in the same condition.

YM all the way. 1. It looks more like an original Milgauss than the current Milgauss and 2. What's the point of a Milgauss nowadays? The green crystal certainly is cool, but the watch's party trick is seriously obsolete in times of non ferrous materials and silicon.

Just because I won't validate your watch purchase, doesn't mean you get to be impolite. #SAD

I do have the 16610LV and YM2 gold. My wife has a midsize YM1 w/ grey dial. The milgauss does fit my profession since I run a Spy Shop, I am also a technician there as well.

A spy shop, how cool is that! In that case I assume you already have a blue Seamaster Professional?

I really was not into watches, I had a YM1 two tone for 10 years and thought I was ok. I just discovered the James Bond Sea master not long ago.

I prefer the Milgauss, but in your case I recommend buying neither if the choice is not obvious to you.

I think Travis is onto function over form, which for me usually trumps all for me.

Do you need or want a date function on your watch?

This might be the best advise you can get.

Of the two options I would go YM. I prefer the size and look of the watch.
