Been out on a date tonight.....
Had a great time with a really sweet young lady but she was a little perturbed that I kept looking at my wrist, I explained that i wasn't checking the time just simply admiring my watch ......hope she'll understand

It's good to test the mettle of your women in such a manner.

I'd be careful when looking at the watch during a date. If I was the girl I'd wonder if he was not interested and thinking "when is this date gonna end?! Because he keeps staring at his watch a lot."

You need to set the ground rules right from the start. The watches come first!

I would be confused as well if my date kept checking her TUDOR; however, if she kept checking her ROLEX, I'd understand.

As long as you explained why you kept glancing at the watch, I think you'll be OK!
Well, I know I'd understand...

The date must not have been as pretty as the watch. Maybe a few glasses of wine later and it may have been different.

Just get her to log on to TRF and have a look at a few threads and I'm sure she'll understand

Glad you are the sensitive type, I am sure she would have not minded being upstaged by a watch
