Tudor Red or Blue ETA
So a friend of mine at the AD has a blue and red in stock and is giving me 25% off. Is that a fair price and I’m sure it’s been discussed a million times but which looks better on a strap? This would be my first Tudor. Btw I hate this forum. I’m going broke.

Red.
At first it was my least favourite. After seeing one a second time at an AD, it's got real character. |

Depends if you like the fake patina. If you do, red, if not the blue.
The eta versions are nice. A bit thinner than the in house. The black bays are good watches. |

You should look here for Tudors. Priced way better than ADs even with your 25% off. I say red rose with a bracelet

I would not shy away from the ETA movement. It’s robust, accurate, and a mm or two slimmer than the new in-house movement. The color is a matter of choice. I prefer the more versatile blue. They are gorgeous watches! Go for it!

For what it’s worth here’s my ETA Blue on a Rallye strap. A lot depends on your taste of straps, I guess. The bracelet looks great, but I find the strap a bit more comfortable for long wearing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Between the two, I prefer the Blue. I ended up getting the black in house movement however. The only reason I did was because I preferred the writing on the dial better.

I wouldn't walk, I'd run and grab one at that price. My BBN ETA is on the strap, it's pretty nice but I'm kind of lusting for a bracelet. I'd go with the red personally. It's more engaging, the blue is a bit sterile. I feel like if you get the blue, you might wonder what it would be like having the red but not the other way around.

I went for the Red - the original & the most distinctive.
Plus - the red bezel, chocolate dial, creamy lume, gilt writing & rose gold hands/markers all work tremendously well with the brown leather distressed strap to create a very 'warm' look. Bags of character. |

The red is a cooler looking watch for the vibe black bay tries to capture (basically a chop shop of vintage nods). The blue looks good too but it's a much colder/modern color scheme IMO. If just one go with the red IMO.

Good choice. I've got red on bracelet and black on strap. The blue leaves me a bit cold. Like the other two much better. I think it's the gold tone on the dials and hands.

I'd go Red...and I did when making the same choice! To me, this watch is unique in Red, and since I've owned black Rolex divers for years, no need for me to do BB in black!

Tudor Red or Blue ETA
Both are awesome, I like the blue on a black distressed leather not blue.. currently on rubber!
