World Series - What a series!

I'm I the only one watching the World Series? Whether you love the game or not, you just have to love this series. Absolutely incredible what both teams have been doing in this series. Ups and downs for both teams and neither team giving up. Whether you are cheering for the Astros or Dodgers, this is too fun to watch.

Go Dodgers!

For sure, an exciting series, as has been the entire playoffs!

That being said, the number of home runs is out of control. And it seems that the reason is due to equipment: the baseballs are slicker. Yes, both teams play under the same conditions, but it's not how they played all year, it's not how the pitching staffs were constructed and it's not how individual pitchers have evolved over their careers. Darvish, for example, whose best pitch is a slider, has been neutralized. Giles for Houston has been impacted, too.

Change is okay. But, the World Series isn't the place for it, IMHO.

Totally agree here... I have been an avid MLB fan my whole life, but something is off this year, for sure.

And yes, Go Stros

Professional sports is about generating profits and since the last couple World Series have had lower than usual ratings, maybe this is a way for the MLB to cash in. I have read many articles so far about the balls and pitchers from both sides are having a hard time having their pitches break like they used to leaving the ball over the plate, right in a hitters "sweet spot".
It has been a very exciting series no doubt, but to have this many home runs only half way through the series is very suspicious. I looks like a home run derby.

I have been an MLB fan since the time I was 8. At one time, strike-outs were viewed as a flawed effort on the part of the batter. Today KOs are accepted providing the power numbers/HRs are there.

Babe Ruth redefined MLB back in the 1920s when they went from a 'dead ball' to a 'live ball' (one more tightly stitched). Baseball fans dig the 'long ball' (aka home runs) and that will never change because it adds a certain drama to the game.

Fantastic series so far. Both bullpens drinking from the bottom of the well, great hitters on both teams, neither of which gives up. I only wish I lived on the west coast so I could get more than 5 hours of sleep between the finish of the games and waking up for work!

Back and forth like no series I can remember.
Like two evenly matched fighters trading shots.

Really looking forward to Game 7
What a contrast in style these two teams are.
In the three games the Dodgers have won, their pitching allowed only 4 runs.
In the three games the Astros have won, their pitching allowed 21 runs.

As a Yankee fan I usually stick to the American League teams but I'm rooting for LA this year. Zero tolerance for Gurriel.

Another good game, not as exciting as game 5 with the lead changes, but still fun to watch. Looking forward to tomorrow and hope it's a good game.

Go Dodgers!

Feel free to bring a team over and challenge

For the record they’ve been holding it since the late 1800s so it’s not as if there were other competive baseball leagues at the time.

Still a great series, even though the Dodgers lost. Congrats to Houston and its fans! Well deserved, they were the better team tonight without question.

Super happy for Stros fans!!! I'm kind of a fair weather baseball but went to the ALCS Game 7 in Htown for the experience (I'm 2 hours away). MM Park was an insane asylum, and the fans were crazy passionate. This really reminds me of when New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl following Hurricane Katrina. Lots of Houston members here so congrats to all of y'all, you deserve it!!!
