Meanwhile, in my history class ...
... I spotted this 1016 on the wrist of one of my students. My SubC pales in comparison

Fantastic. I assume you are upping his/her grades on account of good taste!

He's earning an excellent grade on his own ... but his taste is definitely worth extra credit

I've pretty much taught it all over the past 27 or 28 years ... currently I have two sections of 10th grade (World History survey from the fall of Rome to the late 20th century), and two sections of AP European History for 12th grade. My specialty (such as it is) is late medieval British history.

Off to a good start. |

Sweet watch. Man, high school kids wearing watches in the five figures...few kids had cars worth that much when I was in school.

He's eighteen (or close to it), and he's a genuine WIS ... very knowledgeable about the history of watches. He has a bright future ahead - I've suggested to him that he should consider trying to get into the industry in some capacity after college. Who knows?

I wish one of my professors wore a rolex, feels a bit odd being a student and wearing one, although I'm a few years older than the traditional college student.

Sweet! I was wearing my first Sub to high school my senior year, I don't ever remember any of my teachers noticing or having one.

I'll bet there's an interesting story behind that piece! Nice to see younger folks getting an early start with this!

Wow...very nice indeed! High school in the ‘70’s I was excited to have a self-winding Timex. “Takes a licking and keeps on ticking”
