Lamborghini Espada at work

Saw this rare bird in the parking lot the other day. Looks to be a series 2. Needs some work but it's out and about. Cheapest way to get into a Countach V12 I suspect. The rear windows cracked me up. Reminded me of a van conversion

Looks like a 400GT so that would be 68-70.

The 400 GTS had more pointed hood air intakes so I stick with my previous reply.

Mine was a 69.

Pretty Cool.

In the pictures it doesn't seem to be very well kept.

Was it in good condition or ready for a restoration?

The first Lambo Espada I saw in the wild was in the Seventies on a family vacation in Italy. I remember betting my father that the driver would be some young, dashing guy. My father, being older and wiser, laughed and said no way, the owner will be fat, bald and middle aged. So we agreed to wait... Dad was right, I was wrong and the Espada in a light metallic blue was undeminished in its beauty despite the frumpy owner!

Well Done, Guy. Great to see photos of one that's on the street and seen some action.
Not a beautiful car IMHO but a unique and interesting one.

Always liked the looks of the Urraco. It still looks good to me 40 years down the track.
