Icon7 New sub from ad

I loved my 14060m. I had to go to an AD after months of thinking of at least trying on a 114060 to get it off of my mind, OK I got a difference price which I thought was a great deal but I had to sleep on it.I kept looking at mine and after convincing myself that no way am I letting it go. Ok so I woke up very early and was at the AD just before they opened. I must say all of my vintage and nostalgic sellers remorse was very short lived once the new one was sized and I left with a full set and a warranty card in my name. I love the new gen. submariner and am so glad I just went to look.

So did your AD take your 14060 in trade, and had your 14060 been purchased new as well?

Glad you're happy, but I couldn't have done that trade without considerable more thought, and even then not. You can always buy a new Sub, but the opportunity to buy a new 14060 is lost forever. Maybe if I purchased second hand, or hadn't owned it as long, I would feel differently.

The important thing is that it was the right decision for you, and apparently it was.

Congrats.

Congrats if you're happy that's what matters. I couldn't do that... Now maybe for a SD43.

New sub

Yes the AD took my 14060 on trade. Trade in value was fair for wholesale and the retail price was low on the new one. The bottom line was the difference price which was very good for me better than I would have thought. Sounds like a car deal I know I did not expect to make a deal when I went in just to try it on but it was a lot easier and I'm 100 % glad it worked. I bought my 14060m through the forum only 6 months ago I enjoyed it everyday as Im sure I will with the new one. I'll work on the pics, I've tried before with no results. (any clues?) Thanks guys, Nikrnic

Sounds like a good move then

Brand new Sub with the AD experience. Hard to beat that.

Worn both models. Like them both, but prefer the 6 digit version. Love the clasp and the dial/hands are much easier to read for me. I do miss the elegance of the 5 digit cases but overall dig the newer models for practicality.

Congrats!

The Corvette in your avatar is a beauty--details?
