Long 5 insert 1962 5512 not fitting the bezel?
Hi,
Any ideas on this? The insert seems to be just a tad too big and won't fit. I even brought it to my AD and they could not do the job with their Rolex watchmaker. Could the bezel be a service replacement and smaller than the factory original. I don't want to damage the insert (make it smaller) as it's near mint and cost me a lot. Love to hear the forums views. Cheers, M |

Got any pics?
I’ve read of watchmakers having to freeze the insert (in the freezer) and heating the bezel (in the oven) to make an insert fit.... May want to find a more creative independent watchmaker than an AD. Sent from my cracked, broken hand wound phone. IG @morning_tundra |
