Confessions of a Sheikh

For the past 3 months I've been feeling a little strange in my body. I've been feeling extreme numbness and tingling in both hands and feet simultaneously. There is no pain, but a certain tightness when making a fist or when moving them toes. No pain is present and I could still sleep good at night, but this thing is very annoying. I couldn't run or even walk briskly anymore because it feels like cramping my feet. Everything I grip feels like slipping out of my hands (like having velvety hands). Boy, do I keep a close watch on this when it comes to handling my watches.

I went to my family doctor to have my check up: No diabetes, my thyroid is good, liver is good, and my heart is pumping strong. I have high blood pressure though which I'm taking medications now. A neurologist conducted my EMG test and I was diagnosed with CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome) in both hands. Also had an MRI for the lumbar spine to check for compressed nerves that might be causing paresthesias in the feet, but it's negative. My chiropractor think it's Tarsal tunnel, but my Orthopedic surgeon doesn't agree with him. He told me to observe it for awhile and just wear arch support in my shoes. I am however scheduled for CTS surgery 3 wks. from now for my right hand, then my left hand 4 wks. later (when my right hand heals up).

Can anybody relate to the Sheikh?

Are you maybe having a reaction to your watch? LoL sorry just couldn't resist. Since they the Doc's haven't found anthing serious then could it be something they are just over looking as it is minor?

Funny but it looks like these symptoms came the same time I got converted to Breitlings some 3 months ago.

Also came along with it, a poetic mood from nowhere. Must be some sort of a Breitling romanticizing stage.

That was probably from pondering what time it was with that complicated dial.

I hope your surgery goes well.

Gosh if that's what it takes for total healing, I'll jump on it!
Anything to restore my feelings back is no comparison to any watch for what its worth

Errr ... I wonder if I could get my Sub back ...
