Ever fall out of Love?

Just like the title says, I’m sure it’s been discussed a million times but... I bought the BBR last month and initially I was all about it. Now I wear it every now and then, on the days I do I stare at it and think it’s nice but just don’t know. Am I crazy??

On a Rolex/Tudor forum what else could it be?

Cut your loses, you will never stop feeling like that. When it starts like that in my head, the result is always the same. Sell it and move on.

Many times.

But...sometimes prematurely. Give it some time to be sure.

Had the same, happened to me as well, put mine on ebay at no reserve and drew a lot of interest due to all others at a fixed price and did well, only lost $225., not bad from buying new from jomashop which had the lowest price in may, then bought a 14060m, just traded that at AD for a 114060. I'm done, it's a keeper.

Ever fall out of Love?

What if I told you it was a monthly occurrence?

Happened to me with the Tudor Pelagos. I love everything about that watch. Incredible design and build quality. But eventually I realized it was just too big for my wrist. And I could never get over it. Flipped it toward a 14060m no date sub, and never looked back.

I would put it away for a few weeks and see if you change your mind. Of course, part of this may be the reason you bought in the first place. If you bought in place of something more expensive, say a sub, then maybe your itch hasn't been scratched. I've been there and I suspect many others have and the usual cure is to save up and buy what you really desire.

Falling out of love after a month (which is basically still in the honeymoon period)? Not a real love to begin with, more so an infatuation.

Flip it and move on.

Perhaps your Tudor Heritage Black Bay Red is on the "distressed" leather strap ? No wonder you're having second thoughts....Switch her to a Nato strap, then take her out to dinner and movie date. If that doesn't work, proceed with a trial of separation. Filling for divorce only as the last option

If it does not work, it does not work. Move on to something else that does it for you.

Agreed, if it’s happened already, you never loved it. Does the color work with your wardrobe/complection? Better luck with the next piece!

It happened to me with the BLNR. I'd say give it a few months just to be certain, but if you're asking here, you probably already know

I'd stick a bit longer as been said, this forum is the Oscar Wilde of temptations and it can be hard to settle down.

Perhaps the problem isn't the watch; we tend to love the adventure of buying a watch, all that research and anticipation. The actual watch isn't the real point, so we keep repeating the same process. Round and round.

yes Peter,,,
I think the " thrill of the chase" is much more important the people give it credit for,,,,
For me its much more exciting searching, deciding what new piece that your going to add even more so then opening the box and wearing her,,,
if she dont sing then she needs to go gt500,,,,jay

you have two options, either you give it some few months and see if the love can grow again, else you flip it and move on.
