Not certain what gender has to do with the decision. I'd say which ever appeals to the OP the most. I'd find the date useful. Ultimately unless one can find a really deep discount the watch will take a hit if it is ever sold.

Both are outstanding YG models. Whilst one is a little more “toolish” so to speak, and one is a little more refined/elegant .....as far as sport watches go. Have owned both...no wrong answer here |

Between these exact two, the Sub for me. If the Daytona were the black dial with gold sub-dials and red bits, it would be a much tougher choice.

Those hands look impossible to read on the Daytona.

First all yellow gold Rolex
Tough choice. I am a fan of gold dial on gold watch (go all the way gold or go home kinda thing), but that LB dial is to die for. Sub would be the first for me.

To me, a yellow gold Rolex says DayDate/President. Both beautiful and a timeless classic.

Of the two choices, I'd say Daytona. The Sub is (well, was) the ultimate tool watch and should be in stainless steel.

When I was younger I loved Chronograhs. As my eyes have aged it is very difficult for me to see the hands with the dials behind them. My primary need for a watch is to tell time. If I can’t easily read the face the watch becomes pure jewelry and not a functional tool. This was why I have the YG Sub over the Skydweller and the Daytona. I did consider the GMT.
I love the look of the gold with the blue face. Every time I check the time I smile. No regrets what so ever. At this point I don’t plan to even buy any more watches. This watch has become my holy grail. |

I have owned several of both YG Rolexes. The YG Daytona was my first PM Rolex and I wore it for almost 10 years. I have owned several YG blue dial Submariners and for the dial I would say that it is stunning. I currently own a YG Submariner with the black dial and while it does not pop like the sunburst dial it is great looking and more wearable for me. The biggest difference for me is the Submariner wears much larger, in a good way, and the glide lock bracelet. I am consistently tempted by the Daytona but every time I put one back on I immediately notice the size.

Does "Lambo" in your screen name refer to the car? If so I can see why you'd like the Daytona. But is a chronograph useful, more so than a diver? Granted the Sub will go deeper than you probably ever will so one could argue that the depth rating is a potentially useless as a chronograph. However I do find the Sub dials on daytona's often make it difficult to read the time. So the complication makes the basic use (telling time), well, complicated. The Sub does not suffer from that issue.
