Icon3 3 Watch Collection - 3rd is an issue

OK here it is boiled down over years of flipping

1]I landed on a current Explorer wearing it for most days -all the Good / Great reviews apply here - easy link is excellent feature

2]Have a Tudor black bay blue - Really impressed with the quality it may be a drop large but within reason

3]The 3rd watch now is a 39 OP blue face - really like it but the size is about the same as the Explorer - will not get much wrist time

My initial thoughts are - replace OP with a 36mm Date just - But I'm open to other suggestions

the Explorer is the Rock of this trio , Tudor is on shaky grounds , the OP has fall'n and can't get up

No reason to force it. You sound like a perfect “one watch” candidate with the Explorer.

Three is a great size collection! The 36 or new 41 DJ would be an excellent addition.

yep this. DJ41 would be my choice. Especially since you already wear a 41mm BB which means you can pull off a DJ41 no problem at all.

Explorer is a great cornerstone and daily wearer in your 3 watch collection. For me the OP 39 would go for something with a date like a DJ unless you don't care about that in which case adding a chronograph complication would be fun.

With that collection I’d pick up a Speedmaster.

I had at least 2 Speed masters, agree it would be a nice addition but didn't wear it enough when I had it

not sure how the larger Date just's wear ? Is the current model the one that wears a bit smaller ?
I may be OK with the 36 mm but the Bracelet feature with more adjustments is a big deal for me
If it's not comfortable it's gone ! The easy link on the Explorer has become a real use-able feature ... love to have a glide lock but I think they are only in Divers

Replace the BB with a sub, and the OP with a DJ41. Problem solved...you're welcome.

I will suggest DJ41 preferrably a fluted bezel!

I totally get what you’re saying. It’s surprisingly hard to build a collection (in my opinion) because I always pick a favorite and neglect the others. I would definitely keep the Explorer, then get rid of the other two until you figure out what you really want. The answer might be nothing else.

I’m in the same boat but amazingly don’t have an Explorer at the moment. I tried an Omega Railmaster. I’m loving it, but it’s not scratching the Explorer itch. I need to flip something for the Explorer or add an Explorer. Either way it’s a must have.
