Old Daytona for new Hulk ?

I just got my new SS Daytona with white dial last week . Love it . Makes me wonder how much wear my older Daytona will get now . Been eyeing the Hulk . Normally wouldn’t even entertain the idea of flipping a Daytona for a sub but since I have the new one I’m tempted . I already have the new sub and love it also . Sure could use opinions as to what you would all do . Keep and have 2 White dial Daytona’s or let old one go for the Hulk ?

Thanks !

What's the model number of your old Daytona?

What’s the age of your old Daytona? Is it complete with box and papers?

Even if the 116610LV is brand new I would ask for some cash your way. Check the for sale section to get an idea of values on both pieces.

What this man said...but even then I'd think very carefully.

I'd hold on to it for a while. After six months or so you might find you prefer it over the 116500. Then make your decision on which to flip.

my thought exactly. Besides, hulk prices are inflated at the moment, I'dexpect them to drop by the Spring when regular shipments are rolling out

110% agree....right now prices are just ridiculously absurd with LVs and BLNRs. Not sure what Rolex strategy is at this point but grey dealers are benefiting from this

I'd let it go for the LVc, that and the white D500 are my two top SS Rolexes.

I’d rather have two Daytonas than two Subs, but if you are going to do it, I’d want some cash in addition. Any thoughts on flipping towards something completely different?

For me I’d let nothing in my collection go for a hulk. The green just doesn’t do it for me.

I'd never give up a Daytona for a newer sub. Ever. If you feel the pair of Daytonas are duplicative, trade even up for one with a different color dial. Or take cash and a GMT 16710 for something totally different.

But before I'd do anything, I'd see how you like the new Daytona. You may find you prefer the non-C version, as it wears so differently. Many have decided to favor the non-C versions as they are more balanced and more comfortable on a daily basis. It's pretty personal, so, that's why I say wait a bit.

If you want a Hulk, then go for it especially since you won’t be wearing the older Daytona.

Keep the Daytona for now, Hulk is too high right now, trade it for a hulk in the spring.

The green doesn’t do it for me either so there is no way I do that trade.

The hulk is not worth the premium that everyone is charging. The older Daytona is different enough from the new one that I would keep it if I were you. 2 Daytona > 2 subs

Daytona pre-ceramic full set still worth more than BNIB Hulk.
