Purchase 116660 DSSD please help :(

Hello guys.
I am due to buy 116660 DSSD Black. I went to Rolex AD in my local area then they quoted me $12050 + tax (No discount). I told them that I would think about it. However, I found a new 116660 at Chrono24 but the price is 22% cheaper than the AD I visited. The watch is also new, coming with 5 yr original warranty, and almost full-set (EXCEPT a white tag and bezel protector).
Even though the Chrono seller one does not have white tag and bezel protector, should I take this one?
The AD 116660 comes with completely full set of course but the price difference is 22%. If you guys were me, which one would you guys take?

Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Personally, I would go with Davidsw.com, a trusted seller here on trf. He has one brand new in box (bnib) for $10,675 no tax. You can’t go wrong with him.

Buy the seller. I would not buy from an unknown seller.

If I lived in the US and wanted that watch, I wouldn't hesitate in using DavidSW (or one of the other TRF trusted sellers).

If you’re willing to get one lightly used , a quick check of watchrecon had a number on offer from well known sellers for around the 8.5k mark (not sure if still available, but maybe worth spending more than the 15secs that I did to check them out)

The pre-owned price on the DSSD black face is around 8.5K complete with box and papers and usually some warranty left. Go Trusted Seller here and save the mystery of who you are dealing with and save a lot of money.

Trusted seller is definitely a good option. There is also something to be said about established a good relationship with your local AD. If you plan on buying more watches in the future, tell the AD and maybe they’ll show some price consideration.

I truly appreciate for your guys advice. I am actually looking for new one not a pre-owned one.
I asked DavidSW about the watch but his watch also does not come with a white tag. He told me the AD kept the tag. Do ADs have to take the white tag if they sell to someone with discounted price? As I am looking for a new one, I would like to have full-set of the watch but I am not quite sure paying the full-price at the AD is worth..

Yes, the tag is not worth almost $2k. I think at $10,675 out the door with over night shipping, the little white tag is not worth it and it won't impact the value later on if you end up flipping it. As long at its has the warranty card & box, your in good shape. I believe that one has the bezel protector also....

Im looking at the ones I've bought from AD's, 2 have the tag, one does not. Looking at the ones from davidsw I bought, one has tag, one does not. Don't let the tag derail you imho.

That white tag is not worth the money. Sometimes ADs just throw them out - I wouldn't devalue a watch for missing the white tag.

$10,675 for brand new is a great price... Do it! (I'd personally do pre-loved for less, but I can understand people who want new watches only.)

You can still find them new at a better price than the AD. Try watchrecon to see what is available.

And another for davidsw, he is a class act, great service. You will NOT be disappointed! He usually has the DSSD in stock.
