well if you can get it for the price of gold content, why not?
Otherwise like fellas above say, it's lived a pretty tough life.

Is this the only nice watch in that shop or do they have others?

Reminds me of this one time I wandered into a pawnshop... they had like 100s of (afaik what looked) real on one side, and other side of shop they had stacks of "homage"... I thought that was pretty honest! Much more comfort than if that one shop only had one watch that they said was genuine not fake

Authentic 1803 but it’s been beaten with a polishing wheel and on places you should never polish. Hallmarks and inner clasp should never be polished

They have others like a ladies gold 69178 and several datejusts. Price of the watch i posted is about US$7000.

Sorry can't help you judge on the price, I don't keep track of Ph resales. Further south along Melacca Strait most vintage buyers only go for mint units, anything too worn usually only fetches gold scrap value.

Was thinking of purchasing and having it polished and overhauled at the Rolex Center but on second thoughts will scout around for better bargains. Thanks
