Hello TRF,
I have been looking to Purchase a 116500LN white dial for about 10 months now and Finally came across this Pledge Member’s Ad. Please see link below,

I contacted him on December 18 inquiring about this watch and asked for references and the watch set to specific time zone twice!
He replied: “ Let me know if you want it so I can put it aside”
There are no References provided and no pictures to my specifications.
After 2 days he replies with “watch is OHPF”.
I don’t know what to make of this situation. I was probably one of the first who replied to his ad. He only started posting 3 weeks ago.
There are no references and We don’t want anybody getting scammed.
$18,650 is not a Joke.

I’d like to see pictures of the watch with a TRF tag so we know he owns it and Id like to know who bought this watch and how the transaction is taking place.
TRF please help to address this situation.

I think he is saying that to avoid sending references and pictures to my specifications.

He should post pics at times and dates you request to prove he owns it. If he is new he should bend over backwards to please.

You guys ban users on VPNs? That's actually awesome!!

I assume that would hopefully reduce fraud, as I bet it did with this guy trying to sell the Daytona.

Although there are situations I'm sure people are on VPNs (myself included) when using work computers... But when checking IPs, you should see the source often goes back to "xyz company" I think and usually see the same IPs repeat themselves.

I use a VPN whenever on a public WiFi (Starbucks, airport, etc).

I have a mifi card or I'll just use cellular data.

He can, of course, make the appropriate representation with the site admin who will (upon satisfying any concerns) reinstate the account.

I am choosing to err on the side of caution since scammers here have been subsequently found to have used proxy servers.

He raises legitimate questions in the other thread. You were very aggressive. Many sellers would have walked away from you.

It’s his watch. He doesnt have to sell it to you. That doesn’t make him a scammer.

It's almost 24 hours and the seller still hasn't posted a photo of the watch proving ownership, it seems the OP was correct and there never was a watch.

Guys Guys, we didn’t want to tip anybody off, it’s now time to reveal the Truth,
“Nerry or Reports” is a 20 year old Kid with an extensive amount of criminal history.
His name is Corey Paul Heffren and he actually did sell this non existent Rolex Daytona 116500LN for $17,000 to another TRF member. That member is awaiting the refund of funds by the bank, Thanks to this thread he took the appropriate actions on time.
The Authorities have been alerted and the clock is ticking.
As per the Other Thread that “Reports” had posted Against me, that has been removed by the mods.
I guess I am a Diamond in the rough now ;)
