Have I been sold a fake ?

Hi guys,

received my HULK today,

I am very concerned, the font spacing seems off on the text under Rolex, the position of the date text seems off ?

what you guys think, or is this normal?

Very concerned now,

thanks guys

Show the serial number, clasp, open the crown, case back, and all the other items with the box. If you have reason to believe it's a questionable item, give more info.

When and where did you buy it? Did it come with papers, box, etc? Has it got the usual markings associated with this model? Superficially, it appears to look genuine, but we need much more detail and more photos.

Hopefully not. It might be a good idea to have the 'innards' inspected and confirmed by a qualified Rolex service facility.

Fake Hulks usually look very bad and not even close to the real thing. I see no red flags here. Sunburst in dial is genuine, color of bezel looks authentic. Print font looks authentic.

The 300m should have a gap between 300 and 'm'

There are no rules with dial fonts. Rolex has been known to change them and I know of at least 2 different font dials with the Hulk.

This is not true. The sub also comes with the m stuck to the 300. It looks 100% legit to me.

Actually Rolex uses different dials on the 116610. You cannot spot a fake based on where the m is printed.

Check the o-ring on the crown and laser-engraved rolex crown at 6:00 on the crystal. It looks legit to me, though.

thanks for reply, Yep I can see a laser -engraved crown at the 6-o clock, very very small though, need a magnifying class to see it better, will check that thank you, when you say check the O-Ring, do you mean the color of it, I see it is black.

That looks good to me. Dial text for LVC has several versions which we have discussed it before.

Replica ceramic bezel usually is darker forest green. (color is actually not that bad for men. too bad it is fake) It is a immediately tell. That is how I am able to spot a fake LVC for years.

Please keep in mind, as of 2017 makers claimed they have updated the bezel font and bezel color closer to the authentic one.

So be very careful, especially the LVC. With current price hype, we are gonna see more of the fake LVC on market.

The authentic "sunburst effect" dial has not been replicated. Fake Hulks have a flat green dial. But I agree, with these inflated prices, buyer must do due diligence.

I would tend to agree, David, but from the photos, I think in this case its all OK.
No red flags that would concern me

Agree David. And that is all we have if the actual watch in his hand. The others are from the sellers website. Not to be a worrywart but was that the watch he actually shipped?? Did he post pics of a genuine and ship fakes?? Who was the seller?

Post more pictures of the watch in your possession. Close ups, Inside of clasp, box and card (blur out the serial) etc.

Wouldn’t be the first time someone was shipped something other than what they looked at online.

But I like the look of the sellers pictures. Congrats.

Thanks for advice and replies guys.

I will post more in hand pics of everything when I get home from work.

The box is the same as seller pics anyway. Theres a stain on the side which is confirmed on the one I received.

Could just be lighting or angle in picture. Looks like prong next to clasp lock is bent outward. Anytime I see that I worry, especially on a stickered watch.
