Hot Seasonal Wine Anyone? >>>>>

So my wife found some nice German spiced wine that is
served heated at World Market ... She added some
apples and oranges with some cinnamon sticks to the wine
like we do back home in Europe during the Holidays!!!
OMG , this stuff is delicious, like a dessert on a cold
Winters day ....
Brings back memories, up until now I’ve never seen
these type of wines here in the states ...
Instead of Hot Chocolate we’re having heated wine!!!
Anyone know what I’m talking about ???

I found this Grinch Grog at a local winery, just delicious, heavily spiced.

Mario, it was great, definitely something that you have to sip though because of the spices. I gave some to my mother in law and told her to sip it, of course she didn’t listen, took a huge gulp and was coughing for an hour.
I like the idea of mixing with fruit, I still have half a bottle left and I’m going to simmer it with apples and oranges tonight!

Gluhwein, my favourite! I love wandering around the Christmas markets and drinking it in Germany!

So was it Gluhwein or Glögg?

I much more prefer Glögg as the spices suits me better.

The fruit really brings out the spices and I agree you have to
sip on it ... More enjoyable way...
