A terrible thing happened at last nights New Years dinner.......

I bought too many Lobsters and couldn't finish them all.

Thanks to my wife's creativity I was served a delicious Lobster omelette for lunch today so all's well that ends well.

Happy New Year to all.

Lobster roll, shred it into soup or fried rice, make croquettes... all good.

Leftover turkey is more of a headache!

Mon - you're a lucky man! I mean, married to a creative lady!
Now the delicious lobster is another story... here today, and gone tomorrow!

Happy New Year! From this shore to yours.... somewhere !
Blessings,
DM

I had that problem with king crab legs the other night. I stuck them in the freezer and we’re having them tonight.

I love lobster, but I find it can only be consumed in small quantities to be enjoyable. So eating it over a couple or more meals is much better than all at one time.

Here it is quite expensive (nearly $50 per pound) from the market and twice that price at a restaurant. Thus I would be lucky to have it once per year.... I'm not complaining though, as I do enjoy prawns more often

On 24 December I got $40 of prawns and made a prawn curry. It made 6-7 meals and I just finished the last serve yesterday. Amazing how protein keeps so well in spicy curry
