Are you sure they’re your shoes and not hers?

The stiletto heels were only 6" so they must have been mine.

I knew you had a pair and some fishnet stockings!!! Seriously, I do try on both shoes. It's more a matter of not trusting quality control. Just because it says a certain size doesn't mean it is. It's only happened to me once, but the shoes were different even though they had the same size on the internal tag.

I'd try them both on. I got 2 left shoes once and walked around in circles for days, until I figured out what was wrong...

I would. Slight variations in foot size and manufacturing could make enough of a difference that one shoe might feel fine but the other might not feel quite right.

As a long time professional in the shoe biz.......try on both shoes, spend time in store, if it isn’t somewhat comfy in store it ain’t gonna get better.....and we do not have uniform feet one is always wider longer than other.
PS I now work for Red Wing, we have a lovely heritage line, which wears well with lovely watches......please buy lots......

You need to get a job at John Lobb or G&G so that I can get brother in law discounts on the heavy hitters.

I’m in, but don’t forget EG and St Crispins as well.

I've never needed more than one pair of Foppatofflor at at time and they are pretty forgiving when it comes to size...
