Squeaky Bracelet

Bought a Rolex Explorer last week and I love it. Over the last few days the bracelet appears to be squeaking. It is probably just requiring a bit of lubrication but any thoughts on how to sort?

When new my sub squeaked. After a few weeks of wear it stopped.

It’s totally standard and will go away with time. New Oyster bracelets are notorious for squeaking

If you wear it in the shower and give it a wash with soap and water occasionally that usually helps

As others have said above. Normal. It will go away after some wear, but if you can’t wait or don’t care for it you can wash the watch and bracelet with dish soap and it should go away.

It's caused by the tight fit of the links, enjoy it while it lasts.

Enjoy the squeak. Means it’s a nice tight bracelet. It will eventually go away and then the newness will be gone :)

Bracelet squeak may come and go over the first few months, even if it's a daily beater. SS SkyD bracelet squeaks too.

Give it a bath and see if that helps otherwise just wear it could be some tight links.

A liberal spray of WD40 also does the trick.
