Let’s see your home bar

Since having kids I’ve lost control of 99% of my home. What used to be adult space is now littered with children’s toys. Even my man room has become inundated with toys. I’ve managed however to maintain control of my home bar, well mostly.

There’s a Rolex hidden in the pic for good measure.

I’m a little dry since the holidays. We had 3 pretty large parties at the house. One for clients, one for employees, and one birthday part. All of them killed quite a few bottles.

Let’s see some pics of your home bar!

Haha with a 3 year old and a 1 year old happy hour starts as soon as I can get the kiddos to sleep. That is as long as I can keep myself from facing asleep too!

Nice setup! My home doesn’t have one so we mix em in the kitchen when we aren’t out wildly overpaying

If you ever consider changing the railings on that staircase I would recommend taking the stairs all the way out to the edge of the wall. It really opens up the room, although, I suspect it wouldn't so much in that space.

We did that in our house last year and I am very pleased with the outcome.

We have an open concept main floor so we had to find a corner to tuck in a bar

These days I'm lucky to get one night out a month. I need to work on that!

Looks great. I like the stainless steel appliances. Did you have a 5 year wait for those

Love it! I wish I had room for a walk around bar. Just didn't in this house. In the next one I may do something like that

We don't really have room for a bar. Our house is decent size but we have it styled kind of traditional and a bar wouldn't really fit in the downstairs living room/dining room/kitchen/family room. Our home office is also downstairs along with a full bathroom and we have 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs. No basement.

We keep the booze in a cabinet in the kitchen and make drinks in there. The kitchen/family room is where we spend most of our time.

Ah thanks! I got it in Venice from the actual artist who did the masks for Kubrick. I thought it was pretty cool. I got these from him as well.

I can't wait to get my own house and have a bar like this, you are definitely doing it right. Then again I have my own convenience store so I guess the entire place is my bar.

St. Bernardus Christmas Ale (10% ABV)

for sake of clarity, this is my parents' house. The bar was custom built by the home's previous owner.
