For DEEPSEA Lovers only...!!!

I've now had my DeepSea for a month...

I've worn it all day, everyday...

And I must say that I cannot find a single thing to complain about...

All of the fears I had about size, weight, etc etc etc have proven to be unfounded in my case...

In fact, as the days have gone by, the watch seems to get smaller...

I think I have found "The" watch that suits me...This, after almost 40 years of searching...

People can "bash" this piece to their hearts delight...This is a fantastic watch...

If you are blessed to have a wrist large enough for a deep sea, then it is indeed the perfect watch. May I ask what is your wrist size? Mine is ~6.5” so it looks and feels quite ridiculous on me. I wish I had a bigger wrist, I would love to be able to pull off a deep sea, the domed crystal is my favorite part.

I have an 8" wrist and the watch fits nicely into a slight indentation on the top of it...

And yes, the domed crystal that morphs seamlessly into the bezel is outstanding...

I am like yourself.
I have waited decades for the right watch to come along.
I love it so much that i have two of them
The domed Saphire Crystal is a very desirable feature that is absolutely distinctive in the modern Rolex lineup.

I agree... fantastic piece!! I’ve tried it a few times, but in the end....just a bit too big for my eye/wrist. Enjoy that beauty!

Absolutely great piece! Enjoy it myself > 1 year as the most worn in my rotation, even before the Kermit!

Did you have the diver extension removed out of interest? Fit like a glove after I did

I've been wearing mine daily for the last 6 mos and it is a very comfortable watch. I never planned on this watch as a daily wearer but I gave my BLNR to my son and needed a daily wearer. It is much more comfortable then my BLNR and Sub. I don't find it top heavy at all. The glidelock is just an amazing piece of engineering so I can keep the bracelet tensioned perfectly in any temperature. I think the ability to adjust the band so easily has helped your make this watch much more wearable every day. I could see being annoying on cold days when your wrist is small and it's slipped down past your wrist and rubbing excessively on the base of your hand. The raised case back actually keeps the crown and crown guard from irritating my wrist as well. I have a 7.25" flat wrist.

I always preferred the black face vs. the blue James Cameron. Classic. This was my first Rolex, having been an Omega devotee forever. Traded the DSSD for my grail, the GMT Master II 16710 BLRO. If I was still diving like I did 20 years ago the DSSD would never have left my wrist.

Beauty watch for sure. I've always appreciated the slimmer looking lugs compared to the SubC.

I love my Dblue however the black dial is classic and beautiful in its own right.

Enjoy

I don’t know who would bash it, it’s the ultimate diver, I wish I had a wrist that was large enough to wear it

Totally agree.
The DSSD was always a grail for me but I still struggled with the size initially, I stuck with it though and am in awe of it now and have no regrets. I keep to the Sub during the working week but that just makes the DSSD even more special I can’t wait to put it on at the weekends.
