A Rolex Story

I have written a short story based around a Rolex watch. I have no idea what to do with it at the moment.

Anybody have any suggestions (or connections) as to how I can get it into print like in a magazine or something?

It's 3800 words long pure fiction of course!

Bounce the idea off a few watch magazine editors to see if they have interest.

If it's pure fiction, try the Rolex marketing department. They will add it to their sales literature along with the claim that "Its takes a year to make a Rolex."

It DOES them take a full year! They include delving the ore to make the steel, transporting it to the kiln, smelting it and mixing it with other metals. After that, producing the billets and preparing these for transport. Etc., etc., etc. The last 2 hours of that full year are meant to finally assemble the watch!

Sorry but anytime I hear a Dutchie say smelting... I cant help but have Goldmember flashbacks.

I work for a company that makes precision steel (and components from our own steel) - it doesn't take a year to get ore from the ground into the finished product. Sorry, but that Rolex stuff is just

LOL! That or submit for the every Rolex tells a story, oh wait, those aren't fictional......uh huh.
