Question for BLNR owners with brushed center links

For those that ended up brushing the PCLs on the BLNR, where did you get it done? Will an AD do it, or would you need to find a trustworthy local jeweler?

Thanks for any help y'all can provide.

My AD would brush the bracelet, so it depends on the AD.

I just purchased a 97200 so I could switch between PCL and brushed whenever. Hard to find though.

Buy a sub so you can put its bracelet on the BLNR

Are you sure? I'm positive there was a thread (or threads) where this has been discussed before.
From memory, some members were saying it was a regular pain in the a* trying to get the GMT bracelet to fit a Sub and vise versa.
Apols if I dreamt all that and it actually fits straight on like a glove! Lol

I've never tried myself even though I own both, but I can give it a shot tonight. I don't think there are any issues though, but I do recall some issues with endlinks not lining up on when putting a jubilee on a GMT.

I put a 97200 on mine and it wasn't difficult at all. Took me a few minutes tops. I also brought it in to an AD to have them look it over and he said it was as solid as the SubC I was wearing.

Or you can buy a Sub and just wear the Sub.

PCL is indeed more prone to scratches, but it does look an layer of richness to the watch and so makes the watch look more expensive.

Which is a pro or a con depending on who you are and what you're looking to portray.

Personally, I just don't like the look on a tool watch. I think polished center links look out place place on a watch meant to get bumped around. Same goes for gold for that matter.

To me, one of the biggest advantages of the 5 digit GMTs is their all brushed bracelets.

I'm going to do this on my Daytona and will probably have LA Watch Works do it.

LAWW brushed out my (former) BLNR bracelet. Looked fantastic. It’s the way it should come from the factory.

Yes, the Sub-c bracelet fits on the BLNR. You need to use the BLNR springbars. I did it on mine. If you search my posts, you can see pics.

On edit: this post talks about the fit. It seems that some people may need springbars from the date just/yachmaster.

I really wouldn’t do it! I don’t mess with any of the watch parts. Switch the bracelet but don’t brush it
My AD offered to brush the PCL for free when I bought mine but I refused

I appreciate the help from everyone. I'll try to call a couple of ADs. I'm a bit nervous about trying something like that myself. I'll leave it to a professional :)
