DateJust 41 blue

I am thinking of making the Datejust 41 Blue my next watch to save for. I am curious if any current owners of it have tried wearing it on a nice brown leather strap. If so, pics would be great to see. It’s a beautiful watch as is but I think a brown leather strap is either going to look amazing or horrible.

DJ with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet- the perfect combination IMHO

I thought of putting it on an alligator brown strap but can’t part with the jubilee!

Stick with the jubilee or oyster bracelet as it will look best that way. Leather straps seem to work better on the professional watches, especially the Submariner or Explorer. The blue dial DJ41 is a beautiful watch though and on my radar, depending on what Baselworld 2018 brings in a month. Good luck. Cheers!

Wow..... great avatar. When I saw it I could almost hear the sound of him swatting the girl on the behind by the pool in Goldfinger and saying, “Man talk” in his thick Scottish accent.

Ha! Indeed! Thanks. Mr. Bond takes credit for getting me interested in Rolex. I'll have that Martini shaken, not stirred. Cheers!

Me too. Although I'm almost embarrassed to admit it was Dalton in License to Kill, wearing a 16610LN.

Id suggest sticking with the Jubilee esp. if you have the Fluted bezel.

According to the Rolex website, this is the only Roman option available so far. Two-tone only, although smooth bezel is an option.

I can't remember seeing a pic of a DJ on a strap that I thought looked right. There are a few companies that make after market end links to fill that gap between the strap and the case. This helps. Google for some pictures.
