The Official "I promise not to post about the SS Coke GMT " Thread

I promise to no longer post about the possibility of a SS coke gmt or the possible discontinuation of the BLRO until the week of Basel.

Its gonna be a few long weeks but we can do it!

Can anyone else take the pledge?

I will take the pledge... but ...but ...but ....I need to know first whether or not there will be a SS coke due to the BLRO being discontinued?

You have 200 posts in over 2 years, I don't think you'll have any problem even until next Basel.

Sorry, dude. The BLRO has been discontinued. Given that, talk of Cokes is inevitable. You'd have better luck keeping your suit dry when pissing into the wind.

Uh...ok!

Actually, I technically didn't state not to discuss the Coke...just a SS coke.

No worries as my suits tend to be of the rather cheap kind that can get all dirty and wet...and then somehow dry themselves. Certainly not the kind of suit your avatar wore.

Sinatra had some of the best suits and ties of all time and his buttoned-up style was anything but average. No one tilted his fedora better, wore a bow tie cooler and made a suit look so effortless. Well, maybe Raymond "Red" Reddington could give him a run for his money as far as the fedora.

I wish you luck on your desire for a Sterling Silver RC GMT.

It's also the existing maxi case. If Rolex puts out anything in the existing case design, it's sticking around for a while. I'd be just fine with that, but what are the odds?

For the record, I'm getting a WG RONR if released. SS? Probably not.

Yes! If they do release it, I would definitely consider the SS. I don’t want to be competing with you for the SS allocation.

I dunno about that mock-up. Yes, it’s great looking. But I wonder about the versatility of a colored bezel if it’s an everyday wearer. Pepsi, Coke, Batman etc. all seem to look casual and sporty. Do y’all actually wear those with suits?

The Pepsi, Coke,Batman are more casual.

The LN goes with a suit very well...

The LN is my only Rolex, and I agree. It dresses up beautifully.

If they release the SS Coke, I'll be in Veruca Salt Mode.

This is the most fun time of the year the few months before and after Basel. Talking about what Rolex may do is half the fun. I guarantee you Rolex is reading comments from their enthusiast base. They have access to a free database of owner feedback i.e. TRF lol

For sure, no more Kardashians for me even if they produce a new one every week.

Wouldn’t this be a good time for the Coke GMT to be Platinum?
