Would I be crazy not to do this trade?

I have a Boutique Blue dial 15400OR on bracelet that I can sell and buy a 26331OR(ROC) also on the bracelet with basically the same amount of money (maybe need to add $500 to a $1,000) Would I be irrational not to go through with this?!!? I love the simplicity and the blue dial of the 15400, but I feel a chronograph is a natural upgrade!
Thoughts?

Financially the Chrono might be worth more, but do you actually like it more? I don't see the point of trading something you love for something you might feel meh about just because it's a good deal.

I personally prefer your 15400OR over the 26331OR. The dial is very busy on the latter, the first is clean and simple, which you stated that you love.

I would spring for the ROC. One downside to it is that you don't get to see the movement as with the 15400. A ROC in gold though is something special

Yes that's certainly true. It is a beautiful movement and I do love looking at it every now and then. However, it's not like we're talking Lange Dato beauty I'll be missing out on. I've been deep in the watch game for some years having never owned a chronograph. I've always been mesmerized by the 1815s and Datos but at this point in my life I still want an AP on my wrist. So this opportunity came knocking.

Curious if you all would still go for the ROC trade if OP was currently holding a 15202OR? Im in that position now ... 15202OR v the blue dial RG chrono. I have a 7 inch wrist and found the jumbo to be a yellow eat fit but haven’t tried the new chronos much.

Thanks. Nick

I probably would for the ROC, the subdials fill up the large dial nicely.

Personally I am a fan of the chrono, and I like the play of the RG subdials with the blue dial.

Not sure if the blue on your 15400OR is as dark, but I did find surprisingly that the blue dial on my 26331OR a lot darker than I expected. Not in a bad way, but more of a surprise more than anything.

But I personally would do 15400OR for 26331OR blue for blue.

Yes it’s very dark and subtle. I believe it’s the same shade of blue for both. But when the light catches it at certain angles (like the pics above) it really shines!

I think I would do it, only down side is you won’t have the movement visible, other than that I prefer the chrono, especially this one is really cool

Absolutely all day!
If you don't mind me asking, how is this possible? There is a large price gap between them.

Rose/Blue ROC is the nicest ROC period right now

Value wise, it's worth the trade. However, you should only buy if you really like the RG ROC. My 2 cents,
