DoctorA comes through again

Thanks to the cooperation and generosity of Ahmed 'DoctorA' I have been able to obtain a GMT BLNR.

Ahmed received a call from an AD that had a BLNR available. Since he had already purchased one, he posted here suggesting anyone interested send him a PM. By the time Ahmed and I connected and I called the AD, the watch was no longer available. Oh well, thank you sir. I went back into my zen-like listdweller mode.

Amazingly, the next day Ahmed received a call from another AD with a BLNR available. He was able to convince the salesperson that I was the person to sale the watch to. He texted me and I called the salesperson and it arrived today.

I am the second person to benefit for Ahmed 'DoctorA's benevolence and can't thank him enough.

Thats refreshing to hear, people helping each other out just because they can, rather than personal gain, Well done DoctorA.
Congrats, enjoy the piece.

THIS is how this forum SHOULD work.

Instead of just pushing up TRF "trusted sellers", who price gouge us all on pieces like this.

Well done. Amazing!

Well said! Ultimately, its a free market and we all have a choice.
Nice to see the team work and that TRF benefited from this!

Just to add - we all need to remember that Dr.A could've just bought all those BLNRs himself and make a few grand in profit immediately by selling them to grey dealers here, who then would've added another few grand in profit to those pieces. End result, more threads about how BLNRs are impossible to get and how it sucks that they are 10.5k new from TRF "trusted sellers".

What he did was awesome. Just awesome. I sincerely hope we see much more of that around here.
