15400 or 15300?
In Vegas currently looking at the 15400 as they dont have any 15300. Managed to grab a pic of it on, do you think it fits right or would i better with a 5300?

If the shot was from a distance, it would have been a better view. I feel it is on the borderline from this shot. Actually the dial is ok but with Royal Oak, you need to take into account the two stiff links on either side of the dial. If those lie on your wrist or bend naturally with the wrist shape, you should be ok. Hope I am making sense. I do feel the 15300 or 15202 will be a much better fit.

I prefer 39mm from AP. I have a bigger wrist 7" and prefer the look of the 300 and 15202 to a 15400. Just MO

Individual taste of how a watch looks varies. If you are looking new vs used I think you can pull off (barely from the picture you posted) the 15400. If you are seeking a used watch 15300.

I think it comes down to personal preference. The 15400 could work for you.

15300, the 15400 looks disproportionate.

The 15400 looks big on your wrist in this closeup pic. What size is your wrist? Try the 15300.

I think you can pull it off. How big is your wrist out of curiosity?
I must admit it’s odd, guys are wearing RO Offshores in 42mm and no one ever says it looks too big yet for the 15400 it’s a different standard. |

I prefer the 15300, but based on availability, and the value comparison of a new 15400, I went with the later.

Had a 15400 and sold it when I bought this. Found the 15400 to be slightly too large for my 7" wrist.

I was debating between these two recently, got the 300 and couldn't be happier with the way it fits compared to the 400

15300 > 15400
Always.

I would buy a 15300. I wish AP would make them again.

Am I the only one who thinks that the 15400 fits almost the same if not better than a 15300? I hhave a 6.5 wrist. The lugs on the 15300 seem to flare out more and are stiffer than that of the 15400. The 15400 wraps around more comfortably for me.

I tried a 15300. It’s not so much that the lugs flare out. It's the plots and first link that are stiff, which don’t allow for a good hug on thin wrists like mine. I wonder how the 15450 would fit?

I guess that's a more accurate description. I was surprised that the 15300 did not fit as well as I'd hoped, considering that it's 39 mm. But I never read about this, so I wonder if I'm the only one...

Yeah, we are on the same page! The 15300 fits borderline okay on my wrist. I’m thinking the 15450 would be a nice fit...
