Help ID New Rolex to me.
Checked my mailbox and found another package the PO didn't know I had first thing this a.m. as sorting was not done. It's much better than described! Got it to start working with a little caressing. This Rolex came from Canada, and trying to figure out year, and model. No serial on it at all. Dial definitely has Rolex written on it which I had to look through my magnifying glass to see, and found seconds hand floating around under crystal, and teeth not missing on gear but just had a little crud that made it look that way. I would put this one roughly in the mid 40's if I had to guess. Would like to do something with dial. Wish it could be just cleaned to see "Rolex" and the 24 hours numbers in the bulls eye. It has been a good day!
I can't get the file size for photos correct so adding link to listing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-WW2-Ro...72.m2749.l2649 |

Update, this Rolex has a 10.5 hunter patent 9764. Still looking for the model. Victory is the closes I have come, but can't find a hint of writing under the word rolex centered in bulleseye. Also can't find a Victory with a dark center anywhere in searches.

Almost complete, also considering dial refinish?

Looks like a Victory to me but it is in really rough shape. Its one of those watches that restoring it will cost you more than its worth since parts are near impossible to find.

I would suggest finding an original Rolex case for this movement first.
