How does this fit? Need your expert help

Hi I'm completely new to the panerai world and would like to get your expert opinion.

I have 6.75 wrists and normally wear Rolexes (Daytona, BLNR, Seadweller4000). So I'm used to 40mm. What your thoughts on size on my wrist with these two PAMs

Too big for my wrists? I know PAMs are supposed to look big. Maybe I'm just too used to Rolex.

My wrists are similar. I felt most comfortable in 44mm manual Luminor. Don’t forget straps really soften up and sit closer after a week of wear. And yes, they’re meant to look big.

They both look fine to me. I would go for the radiomir too. It's thinner so more comfortable on the wrist.

No overhang, so, both are good to go. The most important is which you prefer.

Buy both, i believe a luminor and a radiomir must be in one’s collection. Which one first, thats up to you! Both look great on you btw

Personally I always find the Rad fits better on a smaller wrist, both look more than fine on you though. Like we all know it’s highly unlikely it’ll be you only Pam so buy one now as you’ll be buying the other sooner or later. I’ve got 2 47mm Rad on a 7.5 inch flat wrist and I still find them big but really is part of the Panerai appeal and usp.

I never warmed up to Panerai although i like the damn things. I believe they are meant to wear big. So to your question I say yay it looks fine!

They both look good on you. Like you said, they’re meant to be large.

I have a 6.5” wrist and I’m wearing my 44mm Luminor right now:

Looks fine to me. I own both a Luminor and Radiomir; Panerai along with certain models like the IWC Big Pilot are made to be oversized. To me, it's part of their heritage. They are intended to wear big.

Looks great to me. It's not overbearing on your wrist by any means.

I'm leaning towards PAM 590

Tried one on and it looks cool!!

Think it would add some variety to my collection

(I won't discuss about another Speedy that's crossed my path ...that's another topic altogether )

I even played with strap possibilities

^^ That looks awesome! 44mm is the perfect Panerai size for your wrist. It’s amazing how you can change the strap on a Panerai and suddenly have a completely different watch.

Go get it, man! (and The Speedy Tuesday, too...)

Your comment about variety is a good point, too. Like you, my collection was very Rolex and Omega heavy and I decided to add some variety. Thus the PAM, AP, and JLC. I feel more rounded now.

Thanks... ya' it was fun just testing out straps on the 590.

you're such an enabler....both the 590 and ST?!

Well, you know it’s going to happen anyway. I’m just helping you see through the charade of “one or the other” that we all know so well.

Okay, seriously between the two I vote PAM. I’m on the side of variety.

I think it looks great. I have semi-round wrists, and came from a sea-dweller and oyster quartz. The 44 luminor cases are different (large), but only at first. I actually feel like my 111 wears more comfortable than any other watches I have. Do it! Other watches will feel small after a few days with a Panerai.

Either one looks fine on you. I'm a real 1950 Luminor fan so a little bit biased
