Possible new acquisition

I have had good luck recently while out searching for watches. Friday I found a ref.5513, Saturday I found a ref.1603. But today, today I found what is below. A ref 16013 from 1984. Comes with authentic box (although not original) with Rolex matchbook still intact. If all checks out when I go back to look at the movement this will likely be mine.

Looks like the bracelet has had its day.

Neat piece. Good luck and it seems like you should be able to get a pretty good deal there.

hate to bring back a dead topic, but I am still thinking of this piece. However.... the bracelet will either need to be repaired for replaced. It seems like replacing a TT jubilee essentially doesn't make it worth the hassle? It seems to me their around the $1500 mark from what I have quickly seen online.

Are there any other options? I'd love to get this at an even better price but not if it means putting the same amount back in to it with a bracelet and service.

Thanks for any recs!

You can send the bracelet to Michael Young in Hong Kong and he will rebuild it for $250-300. It will look brand new and be nice and tight when you get it back.
