AD visit and what they had...

They had a total of 4 of these. Platinum Daytona, RG Daytona, Smurf and YG Sub. Lesson being buy them when you see them.

Thank you! Sorry the photo is dated by about 3 months. The visit however was today and I was suprised by the lack of inventory relative to my taste.

You have way more watches than the majority of ADs in the world.
You can open a shop and start your own list.

I don't get how you decide what to throw on your wrist in the morning. The stress of that decision would drive me mad!

My brain would no function trying to choose which watch to where each stay, I would probably get stuck in my tracks looking.
This is actually Costco's secret to success, Offer as few choices, if any, when buying goods. Example. You want ketchup, enjoy the twin pack of 44 ozers, period. Its a fact that too many choices makes it difficult to even choose one for fear of missing out on others.
BTW. congrads on silly collection

Yeah....who would ever want to make all those choices. Craziness at best but I would be willing to try.

Wow! At first I didn't know if that was the AD's display case or your personal collection. Life's been good so far indeed! I agree you need to shoot for 31. Wear them all in good health. Cheers!

This reminds me of a joke I once heard Sam Kinison tell. It was a long time ago but I guess it was at a time when Keith Richards was doing a public service announcement for kids to stay off drugs. He says, “Keith Richards says don’t do drugs, don’t do drugs. We can’t do drugs, (screaming in that Kinison style) because you f-in’ did them all!”

Oddly first time I have been compared to a member of The Rolling Stones. While I have enjoyed my watches I suspect Keith has much better stories.

Specifically, the comparison was Keith's abuse of drugs versus your abuse of a black card.

Keith gave an interview last month and his take on drugs is rather, well..., peculiar.

“Drugs are not interesting these days. They are very institutionalised and bland. And, anyway, I’ve done ’em all. I’m not saying I’m definitely off all of this stuff, In six months’ time, I might be on it again. But at the moment, for a couple of months, I haven’t touched it.”

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/ar...r-drugs-bland/

I guess it's an interesting way of telling people to stay off drugs, haha!

I love seeing your photos! I was at the Tourneau in Bryant Park the other day and their stock was less than subpar.

You got the AD. Well done. I asked about Basel and they told me the Whole Foods next door sells basil. A bit of a humorous disconnect but I said thank you.
