Etched crown?

Looks like the crown is now on the dials on at least the ones I've looked at.

Does that mean the new watches don't have it etched in the crystal now?

Crown on the dial is to denote new movement (I've read) so probably still on the sapphire too.

Crown printed on dial is to indicate new movement.

Maybe the new dial though. The DJ41 SS has a slate dial now too and it has a crown on the dial at 6 clock as well. I think it is just for the new dials. The DJ doesn’t has a new movement though.

Yes it does, well it’s a 32 series movement no longer 3135/6.

But isn't that the same movement on all of DJ41. I believe 3235 has been on DJ41 since 2016. But slate dial wasn't offered on SS before. So that is the only one that has the crown on 6 o clock. Rest are still the same.

If the other dials indeed do not have the crown logo then I would have to say the logo only is applied to new dials. Do the new SD SS batons have the crown logo?

Correct it doesn’t seem to be consistent - time will tell.
