It's a Baselworld brochure with the new Pepsi on the front. Whoever buys it will be able to sell it for more later.

This looks like standard annual Rolex catalogue which is produced in thousands of copies. Every dealer will get copies. 38 bids for this really surprised me, lol

38 bids but only 2 bidders ...

probably they got excited by the bid and didn't realized how foolish this auction has become.

This exact same catalog will become available from every ad and for free in no more than 2 or 3 weeks ...

One person is happy ... it's the seller

Supply and demand. People pay a couple of hundred bucks for issue one of the Rolex magazine (Daytona issue) and that was much easier to pick up for free, all over the world, a couple of years ago.

Someone paid 25M for an actors Daytona.

Surprised catalogues aren’t trading in the thousands.

Does it mean that I can essentially ask for more money for my now discontinued 2016-2017 catalogue???

New Rolex policy. Rolex wouldn't let them leave without removing the stickers and embossing their name on the front page.

That is the regular catalog that you will get for free at your AD very soon. The "Basel Catalog" is only a A4 folding brochure with 3 pages.

In that case I withdraw my statement above.

I should have taken home more of them, gnah.
Seriously, each visitor was able to get one from the Rolex booth. There must be x-thousands of them floating around.

I can’t wait to read all the “is a Rolex catalogue an investment” threads.

People get carried away on eBay. You see it all the time. There’d rather win a bidding war than buy it for half the price from amazon, or in this case free. The mind boggles.

2018 Rolex catalog for $400 ?

A fool and their money...

I save my AD gifts to give away for free to WIS people here in the forum. I wouldn’t even think about selling a brochure on eBay. I never thought someone would pay for it lol. But I’d rather give it to a TRF member who wanted it.

Well he must have brought an empty suitcase to Baselworld to have all of these other show chachki’s that he is also selling.

https://m.ebay.com/sch/i.html?isRefi...=1&_mwBanner=1

Sad - the Tudor catalog is only fetching a few dollars.

Yep, he sure racked up. Must be planning to fund his trip by selling the goodies he got there!
