TT GMT with a SS Bracelet ? Will it be weird ?
Hello fellow TRF members,
I have the TT GMT and the SS GMT. I am in this weird dilemma where I find the bezel of the TT much nicer than the Black dial of the LN model. But at the same time I don’t like the TT bracelet at all. I love the SS bracelet. Will it be weird to replace the bracelet of the TT GMT with the Stainless steel version ? So it will be a mix of both watches. Perhaps best of both worlds ?? The Rolex bug is to be blamed ! |

I don't know if I would say weird...but, you're definitely going against the grain.

Well I can't comment on the TT black version but I tried this with my 116613LB bluesy and it doesn't work like I hoped. I mean... I really want to like it but it's just not exactly right.
I'll post some pics to show you what I mean. |

IMHO it won't be aesthetically pleasing! Your watches so do what you like.

Personally, I'd just wear your GMT LN when you don't want any gold. Wear the TT when you do. Problem solved. |

Don't like it at all to be straightforward.

I actually like the TT bracelet on the SS watch. The SS bracelet on the TT watch not so much.

Perfect for St. Patty's Day!
But I wouldn't wear that combo any other day. |

Nice try and an interesting experiment. But I agree, the yellow is too stark against the stainless steel.
P.S. Your LN looks fantastic. So simple and elegant.

It doesn’t exactly work, but at least now you know.
I’d also consider peeling that bracelet sticker |

No, I don't think it would look weird.
Or original.
