Dropping a laptop from a drone

My company told me To fly to vegas for the day, I was hired to do a drone demonstration at the Dell national employee meeting. Weird scenario, they wanted to show the toughness of a new laptop by dropping it from a drone. Eh, I could think of worse ways to spend a day, and I love to ham it up, so would pretend to ask for help from one of the employees watching the show and act as if he/she had pressed the wrong button on the controller causing the laptop to eject. It was amusingly fun. One demo, I randomly picked a gentleman in the crowd to be my “victim.” He was very nice. Afterwards one of the senior execs came up to me and said: “Do you know who that was? That, was Michael Dell... THE Michael Dell!”

... ... ...

Oh....

When I read the title I was expecting something a bit more dramatic like the laptop falling hundreds of feet and shattering into pieces

Looks like a cool setup they had there. A good prank is always fun.

So does Dell have a Laptop that is so tough you can actually drop it from height?
How high?

I’m glad you got the job Paul, but why didn’t they just drop it from the top of a ladder ?

I've had the urge to drop my Dell from a few places as well.

And the customer service guy.
